Forgot to post my stickers! I received 4, but my son snagged one. 😀 Unfortunately, I can’t put any on my hard hats, but they will be strategically placed throughout the plant. Thank you everyone at Power Engineering 101!
Hello everyone, if you were to promote Power Engineering to students at a career fair, what would you say? (keeping in mind that you have about 20 seconds) this could include elementary to University level and Adult Education.
If 20 seconds is the time limit I would test some form of the following to see what resonates. 1. Hey, are you interested in starting a career that, according to everyone we've spoken with, they would choose all over again if given the chance? 2. Did you know that Power Engineers work across multiple industries all over Canada, providing diverse career opportunities nationwide? 3. How would you like to be in a career where you can potentially earn within the top 5%-10% of incomes in Canada? 4. Are you interested in technically challenging work that pushes the boundaries of innovation and engineering?
@Dedra Schmidt We're happy to have you as part of the PE101 community! How's your studies going? Which exam are you preparing for? Here is a free resource we created with practice questions from 5th to 2nd Class that power engineers have found extremely helpful! https://powerengineering101.com/practice-questions-2/
Been out of work for a spell due to medical, was wondering if I should take a brush-up course or if it would be better to go through an agency that hires for the short term.
