Preaching P just dropped a video about high school research and is claiming that JEI (journal of emerging investigators) is a really good quality journal As we all know, publishing in JEI doesn't get you into top colleges. Most of the HYPSM admits I've seen are published in actual graduate level journals, not JEI Also, he is claiming he has 3 papers published but they are in JEI, IJHSR, which are not real credible journals that colleges think are good JEI is run by current grad students which are not PIs or scientists, they are in training Also, he is now making a science fair guide and shows pics of Rishab at the end of his video for footage of winning awards because there's no footage of himself winning. He qualified to ISEF 1/4 years and didn't win any awards. Overall he is a scammer and liar and people need to stop glazing him in the comments of his vids

I did an independent project (now looking to join a lab) and won 1st place at my regional fair. I'd say the biggest thing that Rishab taught me in his coaching was how to learn the background and occupation of a judge so that I could tailor. my answers towards them. This matters a lot at the local level where not everyone is an expert judge. I wanted to pass this on to you all.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get research opportunities? Can you recommend some resources?
