This is my first ever YouTube video. And guess what? It sucks! In fact, it's so bad you won't be able to watch the whole thing. But here's the thing... At least I filmed it. A lot of people in this community too scared to even film a video. I've told 100's of you to go film - and you DON'T DO IT! You're too scared to take this first step... "I'm too ugly" "My voice is bad" "I don't know what to say" "My room is messy" I get it... I was scared, too. But guess what? I got over my fear by sticking out my finger and pressing it firmly against a red button called "record". And then guess what I did... I deleted the video. Never uploaded it. Huge hack: You can always film it & delete your video. You don't need to upload it... You just need to film it. I filmed a ton of dumb videos before ever uploading... Eventually you'll be brave enough to hit upload. And then guess what happens? NOTHING. You'll get damn-near zero views. 🤣 Then you'll go from being scared to pissed off. "Why is nobody watching my videos?!" (Spoiler: Maybe it's because you suck.) Then the real journey begins... The journey of actually getting good enough so people watch. And that's what I'm here to help you with. If you want to go from sucking to rocking... My team & I will tell you exactly what to film + we'll personally review your videos in front of you on Zoom and tell you how to improve. To get this help, join my premium community here. We are here to help you make better videos so you can make more money by helping people. If you want help with improving your vids, now's the time. Best, Ted

1️⃣ Sorted the videos on my YouTube channel by oldest and turns out it was made by a friend who does that for a living 😂 This video is why I created the YouTube in the first place, to have somewhere to park that video.

2️⃣ and the next 5 oldest videos were not created by me either, they were given to me after a radio interview that was also filmed. Mind you, they do qualify as showing people that early videos suck in the sense that I look uncomfortable. But here is the first video on my YouTube channel that I actually did so to speak. The editing with 'effects' and sound is pretty shocking. 😂😂😂 Oh but it is me asking someone else a question, so the next when, when I'm asked a question that is a truly crinche video. And guess what, I'd still post it if it was today, cos I have no shame in embarrassing myself! LOL

@Robbie McFarlane I'd have 1 YouTube, 1 Instagram (or FB or LinkedIn or Whatever) as growing an audience is hard enough, why fragment? On YouTube you can create playlists to quickly send people where you want them to. On Instagram you can use stories and then those high light 'buckets' to get people to what interest them the most. AND... figure out the 3 things about YOU, your skills, passion et cetera that you bring to all your different areas. When you make THAT the focus of your personal brand and content it becomes way easier to talk about different topics, as they are all expressions of those 3 things that people follow you for.
Top 3 Mistakes I See Skool Users Make & How to Fix Them
⚠️ Warning: Unless you're a Skool pro or you've worked with me to set up or optimize your Skool community, you're likely making at least 1 of these 3 mistakes with your Skool community and it's costing you thousands of dollars per month due to sheer ignorance. This post reveals just how simple it can be to earn more money every month with your free Skool community by fixing a few common mistakes. For context: My free Skool community makes me between $50,000 and $100,000/month because I've fixed the 3 mistakes I’m sharing with you here. Mistake #1: A Terrible Invitation. Most free Skool communities have a garbage invitation like this: “Hey so... I know you don’t really know me and you probably think I have nothing of value to offer but do you want to to jOiN mY FrEe CoMmUniTy?” Bruh. We've got to do better than that! Here’s how: Think like a fisherman. 🐠 I don’t fish anymore, but when I used to fish, I put BAIT (worms) on the hook and it worked every time… Turns out, people don’t actually give a sh*t about your community UNTIL they’re in it. …so, we must get them in first with some bait 😏... Try posting something like this: “If you’re looking to achieve ___ but you’re struggling with ___, I just put together a step by step guide for you that will <eliminate the struggle> and <get you dream outcome> without you needing to <thing #1 they don’t wanna do> or <thing #2 they don’t wanna do>. You can get the guide here for free.” Much better! Well done young padawan. When you give away SUPER helpful guides (like a mini course, a PDF, or a private Zoom recording) on social media or via email, and you make those super helpful guides live inside your Skool community, people will join to get it. Everyday I focus on giving away my guides, and I let my Skool community be the house for the guides, and people happily come for the guide, and then stay for the community. To create a super helpful freebie, write down the BIGGEST problem that people in your niche are experiencing, and then write or film a guide on how they can solve it.

I wonder if anyone but the person who created it knows why modules are called sets and lessons are called modules. 😂😂😂 I have a CTA below each video . Just 2 lines in italics then a divider line and then the written part of the lesson. I like how you've also added it to each lesson/module by creating the NEXT and the CTA thingies there. Going to steal this idea from you @Ted Carr thanks for sharing!

@Ted Carr @Ted Carr doesn't surprise me at all. I think it is especially great when you want to go all in for a year or two saving for something big. I love increasing the time I'm not working. As an employee I negotiated a reduction in hours each time I earned more. Ever since I started working for myself I've focused on still having lots of free time AND making more money than in my last job. 😉

@Jessica Minahan definitely with you on offering people an income instead of bots.
Introduction
Hi all! I'm a business and marketing strategist, helping online coaches & consultants get more dream clients into their premium containers or group programs and scale past 20k/m. I went from a booked out and burning out coach at 10k/m to burning down my business model, going all in with a 1:many offer and scaling that! I also recently used AI to help me film 180 videos in one day ;) that helped me increase my reach on social media by up to 700%. What's your nickname? - Maggie/ Hobbit Where you from? based in Amsterdam, grew up in the US and Singapore Biggest strength? - strategy. Seeing the different pathways available to someone and how they can get there Biggest weakness? - ADHD lack of focus! Which content platform is your favourite? Facebook but I play around with a lot of them. What do you want immediate help with inside of this community? I'm setting up a new community so I'm looking for inspiration to increase engagement and get people active right off the bat! Other fun things - I'm a fantasy geek, love video games and my dog's name is Frodo.

Oh I haven't even introduced myself in here. I'll probably leave that until I start my own Skool group, just learning all the ins and outs for now.
