I upgraded my whole computer rig today. This has been an ongoing thing for the past year or so. I've been gathering parts as I go along. Finally the culmination of the DaVinci rig is realized. I've been working on building this machine for a long while and very actively and now it's finally alive! Yay 🎉🤯🧁🎂🍰🥳👏🤠. Went from an Asus motherboard from back in 2010 to an Asus motherboard from 2019. B450F Gaming to be clear. It has a Ryzen 7 - 2700 CPU and 16 GB of RAM. Along with that, I also got 2 - 1 TB NVME drives. Now finally it works! This is a super good thing. . . At least at the moment. Has anyone else got plans for upgrades. Tell me about your Christmas presents to yourselves. In this case, it's my birthday instead of Christmas but to me, it's not really much different. I generally give myself one good thing for a year of hard work and dedication to the craft. .... So to speak. ... Finally I'm starting to keep up with the rest of you folks that have a lot more updated stuff than me.Yay. 🎉😍😘🤣🤠

Last night, my band had a rehearsal and I wanted to record it with just 1 mic in the room. I set up the project correctly, placed the mic in a good spot, checked the level. Everything looked good. I hit the record button and we started going down the playlist. Then after the rehearsal I took a good ear break and then listened back and all I got was the batter head of the kick drum. Lol 🤣 Turns out that I had forgotten to repatch the room mic cable to the interface. Have any of you ever done this? I have decided to make myself a checklist and go through it step by step every time I record anything to prevent this problem from happening again in the future. What are your thoughts?
