Chasm Crossing
The door has slammed shut and locked behind you! You and your party have entered a dungeon room about 30 feet wide, 60 feet long, and 12 feet tall. The door you entered is on the 30-foot wall, so you're facing the long direction of the room. In the middle of the room is a chasm or hole that is as wide as the room, preventing you from crossing to the other side. The room's walls and ceiling extend the whole way, so only the floor is open. The chasm is about 15 feet wide, but you must cross to reach the other side's open door. The only thing on the other side is a three-foot-high square stone post. It is about a foot thick. You only have the standard adventurers' equipment and level-three skills and magic. 1) Pick your race. 2) Pick your class. 3) Decide how you will cross. Be as creative as you can! 4) If someone posts before you, you can incorporate that into your solution. 5) Assume you rolled a 15 on all d20 skill checks and saving throws.

@Ian Hopfe ive thought about this for days and couldn’t think of anything witty. The reality is in the moment I would act on instinct. So, my current character is a 1) Tiefling 2) Sorcerer And I don’t have levitation abilities so I’d be at the mercy of my party. BUT I do have claws and fire resistance so I’d rush the edge and jump. I’d fall quite a ways but my claws are strong enough to dig into the stones and I’d slowly climb up the opposite side. (I actually did this on our first session with this character)

@Ian Hopfe I completely understand. There are many things I used to dedicate HOURS to as a teenager…not so much anymore. But, it’s nice to get a few hours here and there to slog through a campaign with friends.
Website Purpose
Hello Everyone! As the name suggests, this is D&D: One Stop Shop. The efforts are to organize this one website to have all the resources you want and need for D&D. There are multiple websites out there with information and updates on D&D. Our attempt is to bring these crucial websites together in one place for your convenience. Classrooms are split into "Official D&D YouTube videos" (Wizards of the Coast has their videos scattered all over, I've attempted to pull them together in a "chronological order") The additional classrooms will be split into future categories (ex. Home Brew, Cooking, Cosplay, etc.) So, stay tuned as we continue to expand. If you have specific interests, you would like to see added. Please, reach out and help us grow this community into the best group out there!

Personal log stardate 77896.2
Today i spent far too much time trying to learn the math of stardates just to find out they werent consistent across all the series's. Oh well the disillusionment continues forever onward into adulthood. Random D&D thought: based off of interviews and discussions of rules i have decided the only correct way to do death saves is for the DM to roll them covertly and let you know if you are up, down, or dead. With more info, in this scenario, means worse roleplay. If you KNOW that your buddy can fail 2 more saves, the pressure isnt there to save them, but if you dont know how close they are to dying you must act accordingly.

Damnit, that makes too much sense to not play that way going forward. I'm so upset about that. We'll need to inform our DM.
