Good day everyone, Task 1 - Skill matrix analysis. The gap I'm looking to address is on: - Product design and UX -> to make products and features more appealing - Market and customer understanding -> to gain autonomy in terms of market trend analysis - Stakeholder management -> in some circumstances I still take an engineering binary approach (either it works or it doesn't) but towards stakeholder management not everything is binary

@Rasa Kulvietiene Hi, one exercise you may try to make your verbal communication more concise: 1) Write down your message first 2) Review it and force yourself to make it shorter 3) Set a short time interval to deliver it, rehearse multiple times until you can deliver it effectively in the set time interval. Regarding value driven focus -> focus on the problem/use case to address, identify it in the most simpler form without adding assumptions then formulate your value proposition.

Hello, this is my feedback for task 3 Collecting ideas for Roadmap Startup - informal and collaborative approach between all team members that contributes with ideas - limited market research FAANG - structured with idea flowing from different channels and processes - extensive market research Prioritizing the roadmap Startup - rapid addition and testing - prioritized based on ability to achieve with limited resources FAANG - impact on existing users measured - balanced between new features and support of existing users Presenting your ideas to the larger team to get feedback and alignment to invest in it Startup - focus on short term goals with quick ROI FAANG - focus on long term goal and impact on existing users Informing the relevant leaders and teams about a major bug that led to a world wide crash, leading to downtime for ALL users. Startup - direct access to concerned teams to review the issue and provide fix - quick prioritization FAANG - more structured approach but lengthy - slow prioritization due to multiple layers of approval needed

Regarding Defining Success - Skills matrix, shouldn't the matrix be created by senior PMs to make sure it's aligned to company needs and manager's expectations? in my opinion if the matrix is created by a PM new to the company or to the role important elements may be missed.
