My Journey below! 2023 - First client, Addie Bowley (1 video every 2 weeks) $500-$800. 2024 - A lot of contract work with smaller businesses which I made reels for to seek extra money as Addie would only send me a video every 2 weeks and I wanted more money. - I did a trial video edit for IBP - Didn't get the role - I did a youtube video review for Fred Byer - "No" - Didn't get the role - I reached out to Ash Alk - "Your editing isn't my style" - Didn't get the role 2024 was also a very hard year for me as I struggled to land clients after being rejected 90% of the time. This lead me to completely giving up to reach out to clients and just stick with Addie until I grad uni and head into a full time editing office job for a company. Suddenly... - A month ago, Snarp (YouTuber) sent me a DM asking me if I could edit for him. I did reach out to him early 2024 which paid off. - Norman gave me an amazing opportunity to assist him in editing video for IBP. I am still very surprised how lucky I am right now after almost giving up. This shows to always have hope and to never give up. I currently make $1000-1500 per week by doing 2-3 videos per week.
