How long does it usually take you to edit through an hour of vid?
Since i'm a pretty new editor, I want to know relatively how good my editing pace is. Whats your guys usual editing time for long form videos when given about an hour of raw footage? I'm doing informational vlog but dope to hear from any types of videos.

What should I add to intro so far?
This is an edit for my first client, i'm thinking of adding some animation when he mentions the announcement at the end. Any other retention tips for the intro? (the export is bad, video will not look like this)

@Norman Zizoff thanks for the specific advice! I have a pack of punch in presets I’ll try out. Never really used them before so gotta used to it. I’ll try out having the little montage clips while he’s talking, I’ll probably have to use a different sound then or see how it is lowered. Thank you Normal 🙏

Whats the standard rate for a good thumbnail?
If a client asks if it's worth for them to hire someone who just does thumbnail editing what should you say? I don't really have experience making thumbnails so I said I could make some basic ones in the meantime. How do you make a good thumbnail and how much do you charge?
