I really enjoyed this one as well. Some really usefull things to put into practice. I find that I have much more control over my voice in terms of getting any kind of distortion when I am really really quiet. like quieter than a talking voice. As soon as I try and get any louder then I lose everything. Is this normal and am I still on the right track?

I'm Olly and I am from the south of the UK. I have been playing guitar and piano for many years but never in front of an audience. When I sing I sound like a dying cat and I would love to be able to be better and understand if I can change/ craft my voice. Saw Foo Fighters the other day and how does Dave Grohl have such a great rock scream after all these years. Definitely inspiring.

@Draven Grey Thanks for the welcome. I would be interested to learn where it is best to start in developing that technique. Devon is a lovely part of the country. I am in Dorset so not so far away!
