Am I just screwed or are there any scholarships I dont know about?
I am a young student who wants to apply to Oxford university including accommodation (and housing) my course fees would be 71944,87 euros or 60725 ponds. which is way to much for my family to pay. I want to apply for maths and computer science and I am from Germany and I pretty much didn't find any scholarships. My family is able to pay 14.400 euros per year but I have no idea where I should get the 57.544,87 remaining euros. Are there any good scholarships for a German student from a good family? I will be 15 when I apply thank you for your help! ps: I will upvote every good answer.

@Dhyanik Patel none of these are for undergrad students and some only are for exchanges, but I want to fully enroll.

@Seaweed Brain I think that the reputations of oxbridge will take a small hit, but nothing to substantial. The main reason why oxbridge is superior is because of the tutorial system. I think that it is not worth it to pay a lot of money to not even get that much better education.
How can I come up with a unique research question?
Hey guys! I've been looking into starting a research project lately, but I'm having trouble thinking of what question I want to explore specifically. I'm doing math research right now under a mentor, so I'm mostly dealing with computations and simulations instead of lab work. I'm mainly interested in biochemistry, since my mentor had me work on protein prediction models and read papers on kinases for a while. What are the steps I need to take in order in ensure that I end up with a question I'm passionate about exploring and actually hope to make a change with? Also another quick question, when are the deadlines for most regional competitions? I was thinking of spending the rest of this year working on my project and possibly apply next Spring, that way I could potentially qualify for bigger competitions like ISEF. But I don't know, for some reason I'm panicking that I don't have a research project planned in mind as a rising junior.

what are you researching right now
Has anybody published pure math research?
Math research is different than other topics, in that you can not just go to a lab or something like that. I have not jet heard of anyone who has published pure math research (so no ai ml or physics). Does anyone have any advice? THX in advance

@Aryan Mukherjee Thank you for the advice! I have looked into local universities (and am also studying at one) but I really want to do original research for researches sake. I dont just want a professor to slap my name onto his work. that is especially risky to happen with math research, because it is very hard to deligate.

@Aayush B https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fG7ZKdKTo6E this helped me navigate, but be sure to start with real analysis and linear algebra
Pure Math Learning
Hello Community! I am thinking about doing some research in math, but I am not quite at the level where I can understand research papers. I am pretty good at competition math and I know most of calculus (I'm not too grade at multivariable/linear algebra though). Does anyone have any recommendations for a quick way to learn some of the material needed for collegiate math? What should I learn next, and how should I do it?
