First round he’s very patient and uses footwork, jab (incl feints), and defense to keep the fight in zone 3 where he seems to be calculating counters and finding timing as towards the end of the round he starts to fire counters and pounce into zone 2 to establish offense. Like a lion when it first sees its prey, keeping its distance while stalking and determining the best approach for the situation. Last Round he’s pressing forward into zone 2 regularly to bait activity for his heavy counters or use stiff jab/feints to cause his opponent to shell up so he can easily enter zone 2 and chain combos.
