Wednesday Wisdom
Wednesdays are great days to work on your music and the business around it. I myself like to take a look at various metrics on Wednesdays: - Spotify streaming metrics - Website analytics (traffic, email signups, etc.) - Ads performance (CPC ((Cost Per Click)), ROAS ((Return On Ad Spend)), CPM ((Cost Per Impression))) - Social Media analytics - Planning for my next song/release/etc. What do you do on Wednesdays for your music business?

I write in batches as the inspiration comes and need to spend more time on the analytics!
The weekend is almost here
Hi all! The weekend is almost here. I set aside time to write my 41st song of the year today, because I have a big move to do this weekend, and I have to ensure that I get all my songs done every week! You can find the new song coming up soon, but in the meantime -- what's everyone working on?

One jingle leads to another?

@Brian Botkiller It started on the comedy stage doing 'parody' versions of parts of songs from the 80's as 'financial versions'. First one was a song from Olivia Newton John with my financial change to the chorus 'Let's Get Fiscal, Show Me That Your Budget Rocks'. That has now turned into a full song about 10 years later with my momentum writing over the past 3+ months.
Challenges
I'm curious, what challenges are you finding that keep you from writing music? These can be anything -- mindset, time, focus, inspiration -- all of these contribute. But, it is possible to get past these roadblocks. Tell me what's got you locked-up right now. Let's talk about it!

I have my two albums and learned from the process of the first lyric to the listening the first time to the master of each song and then listening to them when released on Spotify! Now that is a feelin'.
