17k on ads NOT one appointment! Need help!
Just joined this amazing startup Optifino with the former commish of the IRS on the board! They've spent 17k on ads the past 2 months running these ads (attached). And basically slight variations of this same exact style and landing page. 161 Total leads, no appointments. Maybe connected with 10 people on the phone. Hello All I just spent the last 4 hours reading the entire Convert 2.0 PDF and it has crystallized the way I need to position myself online. I've spent the last 15 years as a Corporate and Travel Events Photographer and Videographer, capturing events all over the world. It has afforded the opportunity to live as a full-time creative nomad working once or twice a month for the last 6 years excluding 2020. Today they call what I do a content creator.🤣 Guess they had to give it a new name. I've always known I had something to share with the photography and videography community but found most things where tactical and surface level. Most photographers and videographers are educated and professional but they secretly desire freedom of choice and the ability to make a full-time living from their art. The freedom that they desire I have been bless to achieve and enjoy for many years and still enjoy to this day. That's not a flex, it's just the truth. After reading Convert 2.0 I see a clearer path to authentically position myself without coming across as just another photographer or educator. The last two pages of the book was the most impactful to me as it's the exact mindset I had in 2017/18. I just didn't have a clear path to achieving the goal. Design the lifestyle that I want and allow my business to compliment the lifestyle that I want. I'm excited to go on my journey of attracting my tribe / herd of photographers and videographers that too want to shift from creating a living to designing the lifestyle they desire. Thanks Frank I've been a customer and follower since 2009 while stationed at MCAS Miramar living across from UTC Mall. You will know where that is if you ever read this. Can You Guess Which Image Won?
I split test these three different thumbnails for my latest YouTube video to see if changing *only* the copy on the thumbnails would make a difference. It totally did. The title of the video was "Watch This If You Want To Make Money FAST" and these are the thumbnails I tested. Which do you think was the winner?

Shockingly Good Results From YouTube
Two sentences made my last video get a ton of views. I started posting YouTube videos on June 11th. I've been horribly inconsistent with YouTube and my videos rarely got more than a few thousand views. Up until recently, I've had 40K~ish subscribers for years. That didn't seem to matter. Hardly anyone watched my stuff. Up until June 11th of this year, I hadn't posted anything since April of 2023. Then in June I decided to post consistently and see what happened. I got some good advice from Alex Hormozi and I also did the UNTHINKABLE ... Which was to read the instructions that YouTube gives you for free. WHAT ALEX TAUGHT ME: 1. The "thing" that makes YouTube show your video to more people is this: ClickThrough Rate + Average View Duration = Good So the higher your clickthrough rate is (you know ...people seeing the thumbnail and then clicking the video) ... And the longer someone watches your video ... The more YouTube will show it to people for free. 2. A good way to figure out what thumbnails are working is to use tools like ViewStats.com because you can type in a topic or a keyword and it will show you videos that got MORE views than usual. The fancy folks call these "outliers". 3. Make your videos good so that people will watch them longer. So ...armed with this knowledge, I made some videos.. And it actually worked! I've made 8 videos so far and all of them have gotten more than 10,000 views except one. (And that one didn't have a good click through rate.) BUT THEN I DISCOVERED A SECRET. And by "Secret" I mean ... Something that was clearly spelled out in YouTube's instructions. I applied it to my most recent video to date and that video has received 36,000 views in 14 days. Here's the "secret": TELL YOUTUBE WHAT THE VIDEO IS ABOUT BY WRITING YOUR DESCRIPTION PROPERLY. I don't really know what "properly" is but here's what I *was* doing: My descriptions were always the same. A few links at the beginning and then some info about me.
