I was looking to learn more about IK and IK targets and found this spider asset that is separated in layers https://ismartal.itch.io/2d-animated-monster-character-laser-flea I took off and did some crazy ik setup that ended up with walky and stabby legs (walky legs don't move the "claw" part and stabby legs can move the claw to align better but have a stiffer shoulder, good for stabbing!) In the process, I made a quite nice walk cycle and the stab animation ended up ripping something out because I messed up a curve but I liked the result. Probably should have started with a regular, 2-bone, thigh+shin kinda leg... but hey, I survived! Attached my spine project as-is right now, In case you want to see the crazy IK stuff 😅

I'll start us off! ✨ I'm Cydoni, based in the US, and am the creator of YouTube channel Anipalooza where I put out Spine tutorials! I went on a hiatus for a while to pursue another idea for a while and was absolutely floored by all the love I was receiving while I was away, so I made this group for you all! I've been using Spine since 2018 as my main animation program for the past 6 years at a game studio. Over the past year, I became an Animation Director and LOVE being able to mentor my team and watch them grow.
