@Grace C We’ve had 2 MN groups, it’s gotten worse over time. Can’t wait to move them over to Skool. Just haven’t had the time yet. Hate it for same reasons everyone said here. UI is awful.

The stickiness of Skool and the Skool app has me sold. I’m on it several times a day and hardly ever on MN. Kajabi’s community feature is horrible.
Cleaning up cold email subscribers 🧹
I am FINALLY "cleaning up" my list by removing cold subscribers who don't raise their hand to stay on our list. Over the next week or so, I am sending 3 emails to a huge segment of subscribers who haven't opened our emails in a while. Giving them one last chance to let us know they'd like to stay on our newsletter... Then we're removing them! I always thought this process would be super scary. I avoided it for so long (literally this has been on my list for years, and has been at the top of my list for 9 months while I diligently ignored it and bumped it to next month 10 times). But now that I'm doing it, it's really not that bad! I wrote the 3 emails. Created a "link trigger" in Convertkit for people who want to stay on to click. And I sent the first one out this morning. Would it be helpful to you all to see the emails I sent after I'm done with this process? Personally I found that every example email copy and template I found online wasn't that great and sounded really formal/awkward, so I wrote my own to match our brand voice. Happy to share them as I'm sending these over the next week if it's helpful as an example!

Yes, would appreciate seeing them as well. Thanks.
Help Needed
So, after giving some further thought about my coaching program, I've come to another decision... Originally the program was going to be based around trauma/abuse recovery for neurodivergent women. However, I think I'm going to go in the direction of a self-study course... Instead, I want to create a podcast & corresponding community (eventually to have paid elements) for families of addicts. A business coach/mentor of mine had suggested this once before and I resisted so hard.. but as I was looking back/reflecting, I realized just how often I got frustrated with a lack of resources & support for families. I understand, of course, that the focus is on helping the addict break their addiction but addiction impacts the entire family... and there's a lot of recovery involved for the family as well. Anyway.. I'm leaning towards Healing but also thought about Thriving. Your input and help are greatly appreciated

Regarding a name, the 1st 2 in your poll make it sound like it's for addicts. I suggest you try to incorporate the term "families of addicts" in there somehow. I know that may make it longer than you'd prefer. But better to be clear who your target audience is up front.

@Kori Tomelden , have you ever tried using AI to come up with a title? We’ve done that before and it really helped. I recommend you use Claude.ai to narrow down your choices.
Virtual Conferences & Summits
I do plan to have at least one conference or summit (my main differentiating factor being that there's a price upfront for a conference & a free entry ticket for a summit with a VIP upgrade) for my parenting niche ... and plan to do one eventually for my new niche. If you've run these, how do they fit into your business/marketing strategy?

@Mariah Coz @Sara Verbi We used to do 10-day virtual summits back in 2017-2019... just me and my wife putting them on. Wildly successful, but nearly destroyed our marriage. So never again, at least that long. VS's were pretty unique back then, but COVID changed everything. Now, EVERYONE is doing VS's...so we're moving on to new things. Will still do an occasional 1-3 day summit. But you're right Mariah, that ARE the Swiss army knife of digital marketing.

All of our summits are prerecorded interviews, no canned PowerPoint presentations. Also, Live Q&A's with paid sponsors. Lots of affiliates and tons of promotions.
