💰CANCEL Your Monthly API Subscriptions (Build Your Own API)
In this video I’ll show you how to eliminate the hundreds of dollars you spend monthly for subscriptions services in your automations. We'll use AI to build a nearly free API that can replace all the costly subscriptions. We're even releasing a Make(dot)com custom module to make it super easy to use.

Wow that was impressive. Obviously not going to learn it overnight, but what resources would you recommend for someone wanting to learn more about creating custom APIs and connections?

The BEST No-code Automation Platform? Zapier vs. Make.com

@Tylan Miller there’s over 1300 entrepreneurs using it with a direct agreement with zapier. I’ve used it for 7 years. True, there’s always a chance they could lose their account. There’s also a chance zapier (or make or any software for that matter) gets purchased or shuts down.

@Tylan Miller yep. But they actually do have a separate agreement with zapier. It’s not someone reselling folders in their own account. We have discounts on a handful of softwares (high level, zoom, zapier, etc) all through special negotiated deals. But I hear what you’re saying.
Specifics about Notion Vs Airtable for automations
Hello everyone, this is my first post here and a question that has greater implications than I expected. As I am just starting to learn automation from Stephen one question got bigger as I tried to advance in the exercises. (thank you for the attention in the chat mr!) Should I use Notion or Airtable to run my automations? Currently I'm a partner in a digital marketing agency and we specialize in the health care services industry. We focused a lot on AI the last 12 months and managed to build some very useful tools for content, management, strategy, sales and customer support. We use no automations except running AI in their native UI (claude, gpt, midjourney etc...) Even so we managed to push out more than 200 content pieces a week divided between 7-10 clients. These range from Scientific Articles to IG Reels. My goal now is to learn automation and save time money and human mistakes in this whole system. In our team we have: -Copywriter -Ads manager -Video editor -Designer -Digital Strategist -Project Manager -Product Owner -AI Developer -Public Relations Agents + Other on demand freelancers for project specific tasks ( customer support, SEO, e-commerce launch...) To assist all of them we have 2 full time VAs just to copy and paste items, notify people, update records, link database items and many more of these micro tasks that take time from the senior staff. This whole thing is run inside notion. My databases there store everything we have made since the beginning. Everyone knows how to work with the tool and bringing people in is quick and easy since notion is more widely know\used in my country (Brazil). Now I finally get to the point of this post: - Changing from notion to airtable requires a major investment - I have no experience with automations outside of AI - My understanding of the platforms is limited Can you guys help me understand what each one is capable of? I'm trying to get a clear picture to focus my learning and investments.

Both are great and it doesn't have to be 1 vs the other. I use both. Notion is great as pages, share a page with information, etc. Airtable is the beast of databases. It's absolutely amazing, but totally different than Notion. It's not quick to setup, not great for quick note taking, and not great for sharing a page as a lead magnet, etc. But you can do things with AT that you can't do anywhere else. Quick analogy is Notion is like Google Pages, and AT is like Google sheets. Both very effective and great. But very different and serve different purposes. (I'm actually doing a workshop/training on setting up AirTable in my free skool group next week if you're interested).
AI
I use Chat GPT pretty much any time I want to use 'AI' kind of stuff. I know there are other types of AI/programs out there besides ChatGPT. Any you recommend for video content ideas, YT prompts, script outlines, etc?

Notion vs Airtable
@Stephen G. Pope I use Notion for my content machine, can I map it all in Notion? and not air table. What are the different ones and why do you use Airtable?

@Gerald Eder notion is more page based, airtable is a true database. Even with the recent automations in Notion, AT is more advanced in that regard. I’m starting to use both but for different things.

@Stephen G. Pope thanks. in my mind it's almost like Word vs Excel. LOL
