I’ve posted about this a while back!
“WATCHMAN!” Being a watchman is a biblical concept found in Ezekiel33:1-9. A watchman was responsible for sounding the alarm and warning the people of impending danger. In a spiritual sense, being a watchman means being vigilant and alert to the spiritual condition of those around us. It involves speaking truth and warning others of sin and its consequences. As Christians, we are called to be watchmen for our brothers and sisters in Christ (Galatians 6:1-2). This means holding each other accountable, encouraging one another in the faith, and warning against false teachings. It also means being willing to speak the truth in love, even if it is uncomfortable or unpopular (Ephesians 4:15). Ultimately, being a watchman is an act of love and obedience to God. It requires humility, courage, and a heart that desires the spiritual well-being of others. It is a serious responsibility that should not be taken lightly, but it is also a privilege to be used by God to help protect and guide His people. ✝️🧎🏻

Things I’ve learnt over ⏳
“Some things are better left unsaid” when they do not edify or build up others (Ephesians4:29). It is important to consider the impact of our words on those around us, especially in the context of relationships and community. Proverbs 17:28 states that even a fool is considered wise when he keeps silent, and discernment is often shown by knowing when to speak and when to refrain (Proverbs10:19). Jesus himself demonstrated the power of silence in the face of False Accusations (Matthew26:63-64) and taught that we will give an account for every idle word spoken (Matthew12:36). However, there are also times when speaking up is necessary, such as when addressing sin in the church (Matthew 18:15-17) or defending the faith (1 Peter3:15). In these situations, it is important to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and with gentleness and respect (1Peter 3:15). Ultimately, our words should be guided by the Holy Spirit and used to glorify God and build up the body of Christ (Colossians 4:6). I hope this was edifying for some & if you feel led in the spirit to pray for me… plz do so bc I’m starting to feel I need some to intercede for me & I will always continue to do the same!🙏🏼 I pray that all my brothers & sisters in Christ have a wonderful midweek day as well as the rest of the week & that we all stay in the spirit if conflicts, confusions & other worldly agendas arise! In Jesus’ name I pray! 🫡
