You who are math whizes (I'm a word person -- not numbers as much) -- you talk in percentages all the time. How in the world do you figure out the percentages so fast - 5% above this -- et cetera (I can do 10 percent -- that is simpler) on setting your limit orders? Is there an easy way to know? TOS doesn't give percentages -- Street Smart Edge -- old Schwab -- did give percentages in the order form (helped me greatly). Any tips for quickly entering orders on TOS?

For you who trade on TOS, how do you go about choosing to set this type of order? I know it might seem to be a rudimentary question, but I want to be sure I'm choosing the one Derek uses. Colby -- if you have any insight -- please chime in. Every time I try to set a buy - -then set the stop for the small cap gap - I get an error saying I cannot do short sales. I'm not trying to do a short sale. :( Frustrated over here.

Is there a certain amount of days to allow an order to fill before moving on from it? I've figured if the stop level has not been broken, it is still in play. Is this a next day fill or move on, or give it some time to fill, setup?

I just joined the group. I'm excited to learn more and become consistent in green trades. I joined LTF and followed TPT 2 years ago, but just started this year of getting into trading consistently. I'll be retiring next year and want to do this in the next chapter of life and I don't want to have to give up "fun stuff and travel" just because I've retired. I'm working full time remote, so I'm taking advantage as I can to learn all I can. Thanks for including me and am happy to be part of this group!
