(4) So then, my brothers, you also have been made dead to the law through the body of Christ so that you might be joined to another, to Him who has been raised from the dead, that we might bear fruit to God. Words of Ministry By now it should be very clear who is the old husband. The old husband is our old man. The wife is our regenerated new man. The regenerated man, having the old man crucified, is now free from the law of the old man. The law was given to the old man, but the old man, the old husband, is dead. Since my old husband is dead, I, as his wife, am discharged from his law. Paul says that the law of the husband governs the wife as long as her husband lives. However, when the husband dies, the wife is free. Our old husband was our old man. Now we are the regenerated new man. Since the law was given to the old husband and since he died on the cross, we are discharged from his law. This is why we are no longer under the law. Now we are married to Christ, our new husband. In 2 Corinthians 11:2 Paul also says that he has espoused us to one husband, Christ. Christ is our new husband. As regenerated beings, both male and female believers are a part of the wife. Since Christ is our husband we must depend on Him and take Him as our Head. If we do this, we will bear fruit in resurrection to God and serve the Lord in newness of spirit. We will no longer be in the flesh [the old man], but in the newness of the spirit.

Gm Fam!โ˜€๏ธโ˜•๏ธ Grace and Peace be with you. Enjoy your blessed day!โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฉธ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ WOD 18 September 2024: Christ Being Our Propitiation Bible Verses Rom 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (24) Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; (25) Whom God set forth as a propitiation... Words of Ministry Propitiation involves two parties, one of which has wronged the other, has become indebted to the other, and must act to satisfy the demands of the other. If the offending party is to appease the offended party, he must fulfill his demands. For instance, if I wrong you or am otherwise in debt to you, a problem exists between us. Because of this problem or debt, you have a demand upon me, and unless your demand is satisfied the problem between us cannot be resolved. Thus, there is the need for propitiation. This is a matter of atonement. The word atone is composed of two words, "at" and "one." We may write the word atonement this way: at-one-ment. Atonement is at-one-ment. The meaning of atonement is to bring two parties into one. When two parties have been separated and seek to be in oneness, there is the need for propitiation. This is atonement. The action of propitiation is atonement. Propitiation means to make us one with God because there had been a separation between us and God. What was the problem that kept us from God, that made it impossible to have direct fellowship with Him? The problem was our sins. Our sins kept us away from God's presence and hindered God from coming to us. Therefore, we needed propitiation to appease God's demands. Christ accomplished this on the cross when He offered Himself as the propitiatory sacrifice. On the cross He propitiated for us and brought us back to God, making us one with God.

Gm Fam!โ˜€๏ธโ˜•๏ธ Grace and Peace be with you. Enjoy your blessed day!โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฉธ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ WOD 10 September 2024: Overcoming the Accuser By the Blood Bible Verses Eph 6:14 ...having put on the breastplate of righteousness Rev 12:10 ...the accuser of our brothers has been cast down, who accuses them before our God day and night. (11) And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb... Words of Ministry To be covered by the blood of the Lamb is mainly to have upon us the breastplate of righteousness. Righteousness is in the blood, and the covering of the blood is the breastplate. Whenever we intend to fight against the powers of darkness, Satan, through his accusations, causes our conscience to become very sensitive. These feelings actually are not the sensitivity of the conscience, but the result of Satan's accusations. Immediately our response should be, "I overcome Satan, the accuser, not by my perfection and not even by a conscience void of offense, but by the blood of the Lamb. I am defended against his accusations by the breastplate of righteousness." The righteousness that covers our conscience and that guards us from Satan's accusations is Christ Himself. He is our righteousness. Thus, Christ is the truth that girds our loins and also the breastplate of righteousness that covers our conscience. We are covered not by our own righteousness, but by Christ as our righteousness. Some may wonder how the breastplate of righteousness can be related both to Christ and to the blood. In experience we cannot separate the blood from Christ. Apart from His blood, Christ could not cover us. Under the cleansing of His blood, He becomes our righteousness. Whenever we are about to take part in the spiritual warfare, we need to pray, "Lord, cover me with Yourself as my righteousness. Lord, I hide under Your blood." Furthermore, we must tell the accuser, "Satan, I overcome you, not by my merit, but by the prevailing blood of the Lamb."

Vision is not merely the ability to see with our eyes, it is the capacity to perceive with our hearts.
