I would love to hear any thoughts about documenting discounts. Is there ever a reason to not show the provided discounts in your resulting contract with your client? Can it lead to downstream issues?
@Carsten Kunkel - Thank you -- especially for the last two bullets. it corroborates my belief that people have specific skills and we don't always necessarily hire (sales) people based their skill is to negotiate the best prices -- and we definitely don't incentive them to do so.
