The end... & what it means for you
Hey guys, You’ve probably realised things are quiet on our front. After a long discussion with Jon, we’ve decided to close things down (more on that in a moment). But first, here’s what it means for you: - You will all be emailed Vimeo links/google drive links containing all of the PDFs, videos, etc of anything you have purchased for you to download and keep forever. - This Skool group will shut down soon. Take what you need ASAP. - This is not goodbye forever. You probably have questions, and that's ok. I'll be happy answer them, but here are the FAQs so far... - No, me and Jon haven't fallen out. Not in the slightest. We are still best pals, and have regular calls setup to shoot the shit as best mates. - We made this decision due to ever changing personal circumstances making longer term commitments harder to honour. Nothing to do with anything else. - Yes, Elite, and CoreControl is closing too. - Jon is retiring from all long term engagements. But will consider short term projects that fit within his time schedule leveraging his copywriting, and strategic approach to sales & marketing. He will also be taking the Stoic leadership and attitude model forwards. - I will be continuing down a similar path you have seen Well-Fed Business go down, but with my own spin. I'll be leveraging my ten year+ experience as the man behind the scenes enabling us to build a highly profitable, lean, and fun business - and helping others build out their 'behind the scene stuff'. - Holly’s going to ramp up her business support services, branching out to help more business owners with their operations and the day-to-day. Thanks to you all and all the best for the future. It's been an honour and a pleasure to have you coming in my ears. I'll miss your podcasts/videos - always made me laugh as well as keeping me on the right path. Really appreciate everything you've shared - thank you.

If it's a juicy enough problem, I'll likely record a whole video dedicated to solving it and share it with you. The more detail you can give, the better. BOOK UPDATE: All invoices have been paid to our suppliers, and fulfilment people. Contracts are signed and whatnot too. If you haven't received your book yet, don't sweat. They've finished the first printing run, and delivery is imminent. Thank you for your patience, seeing how eager many of you are to get your grubby mitts into the book is incredible. I can't wait for you to get your hands on it.

So, to kick things off. On Friday i had received this months copy of the Business Breakthrough, the Magazine of the Cardell Media VIP Inner Circle. Upon reading it, near the centre page, i find an Article with the Title, Entrepreneur Of The Month. And who do i see, that's right, that would be Me! I've won the Chris Cardell Entrepreneur Of The Month 😁 Then on Saturday, i receive an email from my Tutor, to say that the First Assignment on my Post Grad Degree has come back with an 100% Pass Rate 😁 Lets hope that will continue! And, Saving the Best till last. I had what's possibly The most Important and Worthy Book through the post, Yep, the M82 Kick - Arse Guide, with an enlightening Letter from the One and Only, EBG.. Things couldn't get better, or could they? Well, today, Sunday 19 November 2023, i had a txt from a previous commercial client inviting Me, and no one else, to quote on a large woodland management project 😁 Things are finally looking up, and i have no need to worry, as, when i dropped All my Low Paying, Pain In The Ass, Domestic Clients, i was wondering if i was doing the right thing, but, this weekends Wins, has put my mind at ease! I may be Absolutely Skint, and have Zero in my Accounts, but, that scenario could soon change.

Fucking loved this, especially your banter at the start 🤣 I've worked in places where the sales process was to prepare a presentation ahead of the first call and walk them through it slide by slide - all this before we'd even spoken to them and knew what their problem was or what they really did - just painful all round. It was all about looking professional, rather than actually listening to them and getting the info required to know if we could help them. Total bollocks.

Hey Guys, something a little different for you... Sales scripts suck. They restrict good salespeople and stop them from asking the right questions. Frameworks are far superior. They give good salespeople the freedom to ask the right questions but have firm boundaries they can't pass. Since we've moved from using a script, and started using a framework instead our close rate has increased by 200% on a five-figure offer. How? Love this, Connor, especially the bit about pre-qualification. Is this the same as the "Implied Yes" you talked about at the end of the video going over the learnings from the Elite meeting recently - so anything other than a no from you both is a yes? Or was that more about controlling the conversation by making them feel comfortable by saying no? Didn't quite grok that.
