Nice to meet you @Thalia Redgrave
Holiday Session
Peak seasons, like the holidays, always bring unique challenges to the logistics industry—delayed shipments, increased costs, and higher customer demands. Have you implemented any tech solutions, such as route optimization tools or inventory management software, to handle the pressure?

From my experience in designing digital platforms for logistics companies, I’ve seen how the right tools can reduce stress during these times. Let’s discuss how we can navigate these challenges together!

@Huyen Ntt That’s a smart approach—having multiple backup plans is important. Out of curiosity, have you explored using AI tools to enhance your backup plans?
Broker Transparency
Whats your take on the new enforcement of the Transparency rule That a Freight Broker will have to provide their carriers documentation showing the rate the Shipper paid the Broker? Anybody have something to say about this? LOL

do you think this rule will actually benefit carriers in the long run, or is it just adding more layers of red tape?

Cryptocurrency in Freight Shipping
Has anyone in our group worked in a shipping environment where a cryptocurrency was utilized to pay for the shipping of their freight? I know in eCommerce there are a number of sites where you can purchase and pay for the shipping in Crypto. Overstock, Shopify, NewEgg and Rakuten all accept crypto payments for shipping services. I know in Maritime freight the "ccc" container crypto coin was launched on ethereum ledger all the way back in 2018 but never made it to full adoption. But currently in Freight Trucking Transportation is anyone operating in this space? Any carrier planning on accepting Bitcoin or Crypto for payment or having their freight moved on a Blockchain ledger? Anyone have any insight into these developments it would be great to discuss where this is headed in terms of freight settlements in the future.

What’s exciting is the potential blockchain has for enhancing transparency, reducing transaction fees, and streamlining freight settlements.

@Steven Tittle I don't personally know someone running blockchain-based shipments at scale, I do have experience designing websites for companies that offer blockchain solutions for logistics and shipping. For instance, I've worked on projects similar to CargoX, which utilizes blockchain technology to provide secure and efficient shipment management. You can find out about cargoX

Let's talk container shipments. Recently I started using chatgpt to quickly find companies in specific locations and industries. While it's certainly not robust and ideal like a ZoomInfo, I can say it's been a pleasant surprise to at least begin research. Beware, chatgpt does make errors. What are your favorite ways to prospect?

Chatgpt can definitely serve as a starting point for research, but you’re right—double-checking its output is essential. When it comes to prospecting, I find a mix of tools and strategies works best depending on the target industry. For container shipments and logistics, platforms like LinkedIn sales navigator for identifying decision-makers, combined with tools like Apollo.io or Hunter.io for contact details. Another great method is leveraging websites' SEO and web design—building tools or optimized portals for logistics companies. I’ve worked on logistics website project before that act as a prospecting tool for partnerships.

@Tonnie Banks One way to make it even more effective is to mention something specific about their role or company—maybe a recent achievement or an industry trend that ties into their work. It shows you’ve done your homework and makes your message stand out.
