Stared them today and passed today.

I am practising on paper. Admittedly, this setup on /ES was picture perfect. From a high of 5597 it had to go down. Here is my ride down, with 2 contracts so I got some practice with slightly bigger scale. What a shame it wasn't real money! The only thing I had trouble with was buying back the contracts; I might need help with the buttons there. I wanted to buyback 1 contract and see about riding the other further, though wasn't too disappointed as it looked like the drop had run out of steam. #1 is my exit point; #2 is a bit later (lots of resistance); #3 is my levels.

For those of you in the USA. As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day tomorrow, I hope you and your loved ones are ready for a fantastic cookout. There's truly nothing like a good BBQ to commemorate the principles upon which our great nation was built. We owe an immense debt of gratitude to the founders of this country who made profound sacrifices, allowing us to enjoy the freedoms we cherish today. Among these freedoms is the ability to pursue our financial goals through trading, regardless of economic climates or market directions. Spent time last week working on skills using ToS PaperMoney. Decided to get going with my eval account. Set up over the weekend. Thought I had everything ready. Started Monday, July 1! New month, new opportunity! Found out that there are a few more buttons to push and selections to make. Thought I was making real trades, but nothing showed up on my dashboard. Turns out I ended up making simulated trades. So Tuesday I started real eval trading. The feelings are very similar to starting to trading options with real money, just at a lower level due to experiencing real trading. Fear of the unknown, fear of loss. But also confidence that I can figure it out and move forward, prosper and grow. Found a few more things I needed to learn and ended up -$200 on the day. Missed the opening surge and misread/mistimed some indicators. This morning, got up earlier to catch more action. Was able to catch parts of the moves today. Finished with my account up $500. 7.7% of the way there! This is all very exciting, scary and awesome! Thanks @Jeff Ziegler and everyone at Team Ziegler!
