- Before you send your first email, ensure SPF, DKIM and DMARC (email authentication) was set up correctly - Don’t spray and pray, use customer journeys to send the correct emails to the correct people (segmentation) at the right time - Segment your list based where they came from (Ad, Website, Social Media etc) so you can personalize your message AND verify what segment is purchasing and engaging, so you can double down - Without engagement there is no email marketing. So, when you write emails, you want people to OPEN your email, CLICK a link inside of it AND reply back to you as much as possible - Track engagement to know who is interested in your emails, unsubscribe the contacts that haven’t engaged in the past 90 days. Keep your list clean!
