Got a bit more done on my sketch from Friday. Great fun. We'll organise more of these.

Where does anyone fancy as location for next months coffee meet up? Any interesting locations to draw that you think would be a good idea and setting to do it from?

Hi everyone, Well, as the title suggests, I'm new here. Went to a great sketching social in Leeds a couple of months ago and am now joining this online community in search of more sketch-related adventures. Sketching is great but you know how it is when life gets busy, I just don't always make enough time for it. So NO PRESSURE new sketching buddies but I am holding you entirely responsible for dragging me and my sketchbooks out on a regular basis. Oh and casually inspiring me to create masterpieces too, of course. I'm a returner to sketching after many years where I sort of forgot how much I liked it. As a teenager, I went to loads of life drawing classes, always armed with my trusty charcoal. For some reason, getting back into it now, I'm all about drawing buildings in pen. Watercolour is piquing my interest too but I haven't got a clue how to make it work well. So there you go. There's your starter for ten. Look forward to sketching with you soon. Fran
