Best ways to get an affiliate website ranked/noticed?

So, as the title suggests, i'm wondering about the best way/s to get products in your chosen niche ranked, so that they generate traffic and sales. With the emergence of AI, it seems everyone is generating numerous blog articles to point potential customers towards their blog and into the funnel. But, has the traditional way of doing affiliate marketing changed? As a complete beginner, I'm wondering if I've missed the boat with website and blog creation. SEO optimsation was the key thing 6 months ago, is that still the case? Am I overthinking this and it's business as usual, or do we need to think of other ways to get 'our' products in front of the potential buyers? Be interested to hear others opinions on this, I think i'm heading towards analysis paralysis!

I don’t believe there’s only one way to do affiliate marketing. I can give a few examples of how I make money with affiliate marketing. Once you open your mind and tell yourself “there are affiliate opportunities everywhere… then you’ll literally see affiliate opportunities everywhere” I know it sounds cliche but it’s true. lol 😂 Example 1 (organic) 1. Finding an audience. I go to online meetup.com and join meetups. Periodically the meetup groups become stale and the organizers stop paying for them. I step up and pay for the meetup as an organizer normally it’s $16 and there’s already an audience built in. I’ll show examples of this in a picture below. 2. The need. Looking at the meetup (audience) needs, title etc. I think about products that I’m already familiar with that correlate to that group (audience). I then think of a creative way to put that product in front of others. It could be a tutorial video, masterclass, guest speaker, sometimes it can be me finding an existing video on YouTube that someone else made and putting it on a bridge page that leads to the product or tools sales page. 3. Medium. Creating the content that leads to the product. I’ve created free eBooks/guides that had affiliate links and tutorial videos inside. Hosted masterclasses where I asked the owners or affiliate managers of the product to be a guest speaker. I’ve set up automated webinars inside the meetups and made them reoccurring so that I can grab their email addresses etc. Choose one thing and promote it. Give it away free or use it as a low ticket item. 4. Promote. Promote promote promote. In multiple ways …. Find new reasons to keep mentioning your product/service etc. you can look for correlations in news articles, blogs, commercials etc P.S. the meetup events you can do virtually Another example 1. Audience. Run paid ads 2. Need. Make sure that niche and the ad solves a problem that people have. 3. Medium. Sale or giveaway something. 4. Promote. Multiple creatives and angles, hooks etc.

What about #BookTok?

I see so many with .pdfs of manuals, guides and books. I wrote something 10 years ago but Amazon killed any real chance of selling online. This was before Barnes and Noble went away. Once I registered my POD book with Amazon they gave it away on Kindle so who was going to buy it for $15? I found out later they doubled that price in other country's markets so I never sold anything overseas. But all my old authors groups have been buzzing about #Booktok. Have you tried it Alston? I don't trust all this noise bur I do trust you. 👍😁
