I've had many creative experiences, and the nature of my role is to come up with fresh ideas. So if I stumble into a creative block, I have many approaches and workarounds to break out of the mold of a block.. try a different medium, take a break, collaborate, all of those work :) Having a clear objective and refining the clarity of what the objective is can also help
I spend an exorbitant amount of time dreaming up my perfect space to create, and I have a ton of pics pinned to a Pinterest board. Ideally, itโd have to be a space that doubles up as drawing space, and a space for woodworking. How Iโd keep all the dust out would be the biggest issue, but Iโm sure thereโs a solution for that. Here is some dreamy design space inspo to brighten up your day ๐ >> What would be your ideal set up?
@Kirsten Jooste I got to visit Rembrandt's studio back in 2018. Also incredibly inspiring~ The guy did Everything - made his own oils from rocks, had a room dedicated to his animal / skeleton / reference collections, masterful paintings, drawings, etchings, and more.. and kept it all in a cozy house
@Kirsten Jooste Artists are still studying his techniques 400+ years laterโIโd say 'a master' is a bit of an understatement ๐ Rembrandt was actually one of my favorite artistโs favorite artists. His legacy runs deep ๐ฐ๏ธ๐จ
