Thoughts? J. Cole just released a song with a producer who’s beat he found on youtube after searching “J Cole type beat”. To me, this is another genius marketing move from Jermaine. J Cole, a former ‘bedroom producer’, reaching back into the community at his status, in combination with the dollar and a dream tour, lounge wear outfits, and bowing out of the superstar chase of his contemporaries (Drake and K Dot) solidifies him as Hip Hops favorite every-man. What do you guys think of this move from Cole? If you heard the song, do you like it?

I should've done this when I debuted my album, but I did it now, so no need to complain or beat myself up about it, right?! Exactly, I just edited the video and my tracks on iMovie and BINGO, my album was done within an hour and a half then I uploaded it to Youtube and here it is!!! SONIC CHAOS. I'm still waiting on copyright.gov to send out my certification, but I'm super proud of releasing this album. When I 1st joined the Network and posted that I was writing SONIC CHAOS, there was a brief article about my project in the BMN News Bulletin and it stated that with the hybrid of Free Jazz and Extreme Metal, it can attracted and grow a Cult Following for me as an Experimental Artist and as I posted the article about Experimental Artists can stand out to appeal to a broader audience, this is a reminder that no matter what style of music you create, with the internet, courage and creative marketing, anyone of us can release our works on a worldwide platform.
