How do you manage your poop? 🙄
Got boxes full of this stuff, any recycling ideas for this? Or do you all just throw it away?

I use an old toaster oven to melt it down. I definitely wouldn’t use your household oven or anything you cook food in. Also make sure it’s ventilated. It kind of smells.

@Brandon Santana and honestly I sold almost entirely $5 tigers and small stuff. I only sold one $15 dragon.
Top layer issues
Anyone ever seen anything like this? I think what’s happening is that the shield shape is part of the top layer and instead of printing from edge to edge, it’s printing to the shield. That dark line on the bottom middle of this lid is actually slightly raised. Printing pla basic on a brand new p1p. The first several prints were flawless. Using the same slicer file also. The Red is a screenshot of the slicer. Why can't it start printing the shield on TOP of the top layer instead of as part of the top layer? The gray image is from Fusion 360. It was a PNG that I imported and converted to a shape and then extruded.

Not sure how relevant but here’s how I do stuff like that. I create the drawing and negative extrude into the main body -0.2mm as a cut then extrude +0.2mm as a new body. Then I can color or not in the slicer and it will be flush but still visible. Also if it’s colored like this coaster I print the design as the first layer on the build plate
Where do you buy your pla from
Where do you guys buy your pla from? Because I used to get it from elegoo but they use cardboard spools and you can’t use those for the ams unit on the p1s so I’m wondering where I should buy from?

I run Inland from Amazon or Bambu. Occasionally I’ll get some other brands for like dual extrusions or something but with those I don’t really pay attention to the brand
Which Filament is your favorite? 🤩
