Ai generated damages on items
hi I sell on eBay and today a buyer reported a return and said an item that I sent to them was damaged when they got the item .. I steamed the shirt for them and shipped it to them in excellent condition . When they took their photo it showed a burn hole in the front of the shirt and back .. unbelievable! Using my brain I really think this photo has be altered using ai tool(photo that the customer sent back saying he received the shirt with a hole ) . eBay wants me to except their request and refund them . I’m trying to make people beware of scammers like this . I asked to see a video of the shirt and different angles they haven’t responded. I think the scammer get a win by doing this because they think I don’t want the item back (which if it’s ai generated it will expose it ) .. the two first photos is the customers photos … and the rest are my initial photos I took to sell on eBay .. (the very last one is ai generated but I only had the free version so it couldn’t make it smaller and darker for me to show you EXAMPLE ONLY !!!! ON HOW the scammer can use ai to make it look like you sent a damage item !!!!!!!!!!!!

A uv light will protect you if listed in description and recorded for your records so the buyer can’t switch that or security tags can be put in place as well .. I’ve had someone else give me a tip for high end products that incorporated security tags in their policy as well . I thinks it’s a great idea .

@Matt O'Brien will do ! Because I know it’s some buyers out there but I’m not going to lie I was a little discouraged. But eBay told me to refund them and they will refund me. I’m happy they were there for me this time ! Because I’m trying my best just to send my son to school .. but thank you for your advice!!

@Andres E Alarcon I appreciate your help 🙂
eBay return policy 😭
Hi everyone! I have a question . How do you deal with returns ? I thought the NO RETURN policy was on the sellers side but unfortunately I’ve learned it is not ! I see people are able to take your item switch it and then say it was not as described. But is there a way you maybe mark your item or some how able to identify but a serial number or something to keep people from doing this ? I think it sucks people are really like 😭

@Caitlin Jackson I appreciate your feedback and you are completely correct . I have it set at no refunds and I will change that because no matter what I think the item they’re claiming has to be sent back first before eBay can and will help . It seems like you can’t refuse a refund that says not as described regarding of the seller’s intention. No I was sad about this but like you said I won’t let it discourage me .. just taught me many lessons!

whatnot help
So I’m new to Whatnot and I was trying to see if anybody could give me the best advice doing random pulls . I understand on listing items for your store I have so much inventory that it would suck to just sit and list every single thing , so how do you organize your items for auction day ?

@Red West ok I see no I didn’t eat my polices . Yet .. you gotta bear with me if new to all this . I was mad because eBay mad me cancel his label (because it didn’t have a QR code and come to find out it never will ) so I had to fill out customs paper and pay for a printed label which was $1 + more than eBay because of discount .. it was a head ache so no I don’t want to ship internationally anymore lol
