Display Ads for lead generation
Has anyone had success with display ads for lead generation? I launched a campaign a few weeks ago, it's generating leads, but they are totally useless. Basically, all of them declined to fill out the form or said it was a mistake. Even phone calls are mistakes. I keep adding negative placements, but I'm not sure if it's worth the time. I'm testing two targeting methods: one by keywords and another targeting parents. P.S.: I can't do remarketing because I'm in the mental health business, so this is basically for cold audiences. Thanks in advance for any insights.

Thanks @Louise Rubi and @Austin LeClear , yes... nothing good came from it yet. I will stop the campaign then. Thanks for your insights.
Setting Up Calendly Google Ads Conversion
Hey Everyone, I wanted to reach out to see if anyone knows how to successfully set up a conversion in Google Ads that tracks bookings on a Calendly page. I currently have the GA4 tag integration installed on Calendly Hosted Booking Page and also have a Google Tag set up on a redirect page for when a client books, but Google Ads still isn’t showing the cost per conversion or counting the bookings as conversions. Any help would be super helpful. Thanks!

@Alec Reano there is one reliable way to do but its a bit technical. 1) grab the gclid from the visitor and save it as a hidden field on the calendly form, if you pass it through the url I think calendly has already something built in for you to use, something like this. 2) the using a no code tool like make.com you can receive this data and send the data using by the api using google ads module. like this, the picture bellow, I'm using to send phone calls conversion but the logic is the same. I hope it helps.
Change ads urls after finishing split A/B testing
Hello! I just joined the community so before anything else, thanks for all the great content! I found your Youtube channel when looking for solutions after a google rep totally destroyed my account with her suggestions :/ Now that everything is back in place I've been running a A/B split test and I have a winner but unfortunately the url of the winner is not the same as the one in the ads. So my question is: If I change the URL in the ad it will reset all the learning and results I got until now? I know this is google ads focused but I have the same issue on facebook ads so if you can provide some insights/experience on it it also, it would be great. Because now that I have a winning LP I do not want to lose what the ads learned by changing the url. Thanks again for all the great knowledge you are sharing! Cheers, Jorge

Hi @Austin LeClear , unfortunately I used a CRO tool that splits my traffic so I’m not using the experiments feature from Google ads… I’m having so amazing results in the new landing page (400% more conversion rate without loosing lead quality) that I’m worried that when changing the url I lose this results…

@Adriel Solorzano yep, thats exactly what I ended up doing, and use the utms to conditional forwarding. Altough this works is not ideal because I takes 0.5s to 1s extra in loading time for the user. Im also trying to run an experiment in one of campaigns just using the url as variable, let it get some data and then apply the experiment.
