Anyone here have experience working with drones? An old classmate of mine used one to light portraits on a beach at night which I thought was pretty cool. I’ve only ever flown a drone once and promptly lost it as soon as it took off.
I've filmed and taken photos with a drone a few times. I filmed the mansions on the coast of Rhode Island I think by Newport. Then another time on Duxbury Beach.
Introduce yourself folks! Who’s a photographer you admire and why? I’ll start: Robert and Shana Parkeharrison. Their body of work “the Architect’s Brother” is why I wear a suit in my photos. https://www.parkeharrison.com/bodies-of-work
Hi! Im Joey. Two photographers who inspire me are David Yarrow and Greg Williams. They both mainly shoot in black and white but they both create stunning images in polar opposite ways. Yarrow, a landscape photographer studies animals, how they travel, how they act, etc. He puts a lot of effort in pre production. Williams, on the other hand, takes photos for movie stars. He shows up and takes what the moment gives him. Little to no "preparation" per se but extremely talented. He bridges the gap between the photographer and the subject by interacting with the subject (ex: Fist bumps or cheering glasses, etc)
