Welcome Malachy Friedman!
Super happy to introduce one of the brightest and most creative minds in grappling/mma! @Malachy Friedman and me have been friends ever since we meet at a UFC event in Brazil way back. We been helping each other to grow for years. Some of the stuff we been working on years back is slowly coming in to MMA now. I have learned a ton from Malachy and I’m sure you guys will to!

Setting up the spinning hook kick
One way of setting up the spinning hook kick is to get your lead foot outside of your opponents lead foot. This creates a perfect angle for your kick to land.

@Cengiz Özer that’s great. You can set it up by positioning yourself slightly to one side giving them a clear exit to one side. When they take the bait, spin!
Custom rashguard
Hello everybody ! I'm currently in the process of designing a MMA rashguard that I could produce and sell later as a brand. However, I've came up with many different ideas and I have a hard time being objective about what I created. I know there is many things I could still improve. If some of you would like to give me a honest review on it, just comment or DM me. I truly could not thank you enough. I do not want to post pictures here because I'm not trying to promote anything. I don't even sell it yet, I'm just looking for advices from people that share my passion and that may see what I'm looking to create. Have a nice day everyone !

@Cengiz Özer ?
physical performance in mma
Exciting studies from 2017 that included 29 competitors at high and low level in MMA. In the study, all competitors completed physical tests in the form of squats, SJ and bench press. The result showed significant differences between high and low level competitors. It was thus possible to distinguish between amateurs and professionals in MMA by just looking at their physical characteristics. What do you think? How important are physical attributes in MMA? https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27632577/

There is no way around it physical attributes are a must for high level mma. At a certain level it’s not an edge but a requirement. I do wonder at what point things like 1rep max is kind of “maxed out” and the benefits of increasing a few pounds is no longer worth the effort
