Loving skool but not the issues
So many of my members are having the same issue I am having, you better not want to edit your post or comment or even just move cursor to the 1st line to fix a word..it is so frustrating it just doesn't work, press and press and nope can't overwrite or correct Also completely different it, how can we not have the ability as admins to have post approval as admins we are legally liable for anything that goes on a social media wall or feed... What happens if a member, does a defamatory post and for whatever reason, I miss it, I am asleep when they do it, I am away for a day or 2, it doesn't make sense BC there is no protection for us owners. Any thoughts, it can't just be that this rule is for FB that admins are legally responsible And is anyone else having the editing post comment problem Just remembered.1.more issue Some members don't get the code they need to join And they keep messaging me Other then that it's all good...we have grown to 102 In a week, it was a week yesterday Hope everyone is well, and apologies if I come across a little frustrated it's just that I am...

@Teresa Pelham I didn't have that issue but now that you mention this you remind me of one more issue Some members don't get the code they need to join And they keep messaging me

My sister is a solicitor, and she can't understand how the owners of the communities are being put in a legally liable situation. Should someone post something on my feed defaming another member, and if, for whatever reason, I happen to not see it for maybe a day or two and it stays up on the feed and maybe turns into more than just the post in the comments, the victim can then take me to court for allowing that to happen because they could be psychologically damaged for the rest of their life over some stupid comment. How do I know who my members are? I could have businesses in competition with each other in my members, and if one starts to put the other business down, then the business that's been put down could take me to court because of loss of sales. Anything that you say on social media that's not true about someone else or a business is character or business defamation, and you can be legally liable in Australia. All that's needed is one post or one comment; it doesn't have to be a certain number of posts or comments before it becomes an issue. One post or one comment is enough as long as you can prove that it defamed you in some way. I am guessing that in this situation, you would pass the buck, on the score for not having the feature available, but I don't think so. At the end of the day, there will be some small print somewhere in where we signed up that says we are liable for everything that happens in our community, I bet you. Having said this, I'm not going anywhere and I love it, but this is a big issue for me because I have had defamation problems on Facebook against me and against other people—just nothing that I had anything to do with other than lending my wall for it to happen.

Post approval
Hello, is there an option to turn post approval on so that people can't post without it being approved first?

I have only just began my community up to 75 members and I already am thinking how can some features that anyone would think of not be here already this being one of them Amd every search I've done like this one on google "skool post approval " leads me to a thread like this with many members saying what's so obvious like Why don't we have the ability to aprove posts before they go onto the group Also has anyone thought of the legal repercussions, admins of community are legally liable for what goes onto the group feed If it's a defamatory post, and let's say I am asleep so stays up for 12hrs, it coukd cause huge issues for someone My sister is a solicitor in Australia and practises in this field this is why I am thinking about this She has already made me well aware of my responsibilities as I run a group on. Fb with 30k members So yep please could you add post approval so admins can be safe??? @Sam Owens
