Do you guys think mixtapes are still a must do for upcoming rappers or should they jump straight into dropping singles?

I just finally got my cover art done off of Fiverr. Would like to know what you guys think about it and what type of vibes you get from it. Does it make you want to check out the song based on the graphics?

I won't be releasing music until March but this is the cover art for my first single which is a rap song about putting that work in when you work out and it's over it's hard trap beat. Which one do you think it's better? Do either grab your attention? Or should I hit the drawing board again? Or is it good enough? I know we can't post our music but I figured that the art cover is definitely a part of marketing yourself I guess so it shouldn't be a problem I hope
