Thats a natural human response family. Ive recently had thoughts of that myself. Dont think big like you have to be this thing in your head. Enjoy the small things like the people that hit you up and say "oh man i love this song" "keep going". Times like this is about discipline cause motivation and other outside effects are temporary they come and go. Spend time knowing yourself and loving yourself more. You got this fam!

Did you know that you can now purchase a record deal?
Apparently theres a company out thats breaking the model of modern day record deals by allowing the indie artist to purchase segments of a record deal to tailor it to their current needs. Ai Personal Assistant
So if we like it or not Ai is happening and it’s best to adapt and adjust. I just watched a woman use AI to generate a professional headshot and another artist use Ai to write a creative artist bio. I think we may as well take advantage of Ai while we can.

Adding Value to your music!
Hey guys, I know there's this talk around about how adding value to your music so your audience can receive something instead of just doing an action for you (ie. listen to your music). So I did this giveaway for my next single. Let me know your thoughts on it. I thought I provide an example to see how you can tie it back into your music. Distribution deal, no advance
I have the opportunity to sign a distribution deal for a mixtape. In an interview with a rapper, I heard that he signed a distribution deal (80/20) without an advance for just his first mixtape and ended up making over a million dollars from this in a few months. Do y'all know if it is common to sign a distribution deal without getting an advance and what would be the benefits of this compared to getting one?

First of all congrats on the opportunity. Not sure about the latter part but i would assume no advance is either because they don't have the funds to expense on the possibility on recouping on their investment. Tbh, if you done your research on the company and seen what they did to previous artists id take it if it matched my trajectory and if youre on the higher end of the distribution deal.
