We are working with RecNation (the nation's largest RV storage company) to leverage their resources (RV storage customers, large digital and physical footprint for reservation leads, pickup/drop off hubs, and more). We get most of our reservations from our google business profile as we pop up first when someone searches “RV rental” in our area. (Built over time with reviews, updates and photos targeting keywords) We don’t really have to pay for advertising because of this and 80% of our reservations come direct to our website (off outdoorsy/RVShare). Curious where others get most of their traffic from? I think Google business is the best place once ranked for us, but wanted to see if anyone else has found a better way.

I have searched on pretty much every platform there is to buy & sell RVs and Facebook marketplace is where we have bought almost all of our RVs. It's the most consistent place to find the best deals while limiting competition from buyers due to how it's setup based on your location. Other platforms like RVTrader are easily searchable nationwide which means when someone posts an RV at a fair price they usually have a lot more contacts in the first few days over Facebook marketplace. In short, for sellers I would list on Facebook and RVTrader. For buyers I would focus most of my time searching Facebook marketplace and search different locations to broaden your results. Where have you found is the best for buying RVs?

Before 2024 we didn't have anything to convert website viewers into paying customers that was automated. We would get reservations from people that wanted to reserve an RV on our "Rent Now" tab, but for people that were on the fence, didn't know much about RVing or just starting their journey would basically need to call us to go from on the fence to reserving. We took the same process we would usually go through over a phone conversation with someone interested and put it into an automated process that allows them to learn more about RVing, provide them with resources and give them great promotional offers that are time sensitive to encourage them to reserve same day. I'm constantly editing the emails to add value to the customer as much as possible and it has helped us generate more revenue (43% more) while creating a better customer experience (they learn more, and get to know about our business).
