Good morning everyone. Just joined here, so oll make a quick introduction of myself. Im early 40s tradesman, machinist amd millwright. I became interested in stocks a few years ago but never did anything about it. The idea kept bouncing around in my head. So last week i said to myself, 'it cant be that hard', and i opened an account, and put some cash in and started trading. Put most into etf, and left a little to play with. My first stock pick went up 37% in a day. The feeling was eurphoric. The next morning, i had lost $6. No big deal. But i dont understamd how or why. I found this podcast and realized, it can be that hard. I realized i was just a fresh signed apprentice and i jumped into a job i had no idea about, but was very confident. That leads to errors. Thankfully it only cost me $6 to learn that lesson. So thats what im here for, to learn. And maybe make some cash eventually. I have a teenage daughter and those are expensive!
