I forgot to ask if anyone ever watched Lavender Clothesline on YouTube? She & hubby were at the bins today 😁 I watched some of her videos when I first started, she sells some really cool unique stuff.

I think I saw the PA GW bins in a video once. They looked nice! Out here in Ventura CA, it's kind of a dump...BUT there's gold in that dump! =) I love that Channel.
STR and yesterday digging
Yesterday i I did STR on everything I picked up, literally every single item . I set myself a minimum STR OF 60%. Oh My gawd it was hard , really really hard. Everything I thought was good falls right around 50ish. At the end of the day I had a lot less stuff in my cart BUT THE quality blew my mind. 60% minimum blew my mind.

This is the way. i had been choosing at 20%+ if it a quality item that will eventually sell, but I'm starting to really move into doing much more selective sourcing. It's difficult but the best way forward.

@Jerry Wilson Yep. I have seen a difference in what will sell on ebay as opposed to Mercari, FB Market Place, Depop, and Poshmark (the places I can cross list to from Flyp). But sourcing for ebay will always make the most $ and most of the 60% and higher STR will sell on all of them (except FN Marketplace which still seems to be a "meet" and sell local for me) on heavier items
Another positive reason for Ending Listings, and Sell Similar.
Here is one thing I have noticed about Ending Listings, and Selling as Similar that is a benefit that I have found. It has helped me focus on details and be able to list items without the object sitting in front of me. As I have mentioned here before, one of the reasons I list from my phone, one item at a time, is because I feel it is more accurate. After Ending Listings and Selling Similar for a while now. It has helped me focus on more details, use better key words, and be more comfortable just looking at my photos and completing the listings. I plan to try once more to photo items in groups, and list them later as a group. I think this practice may help me be more comfortable with my accuracy and details.

100% this helps a lot, especially when looking closely at old listings as saying "WTF was i thinking!" :) I am re taking pics and adding new style tags all the time.
Do you ever wonder.
Do you ever wonder why eBay doesn't allow items to easily be purchased as gifts, and sent to another address? Sure seems they could increase their, and our sales by allowing this. I know I shop Amazon for gifts all the time and have the item sent straight to the person I am buying it for.

I'd opt in to a system where the buyer pays for gift wrapping an we do it before sending. The only problem would be standards of giftwrapping, but since we all already adhere to numerous standards and practices, I think we can handle it. Other than that, you can change and add addresses already like Amazon, so it's 1/2 way there.
New here too like many of you and want to up my game
Hey fellow reselling-heads! I am new here but noy new too new to reselling...I am NEW to reselling success, or maybe worded better...I have not found a huge amount of success yet. I am profitable but need to supercharge it!
