🎥 You can think in silence when recording your videos.
Today on a call, we were talking about how "umms" and "uhhs" in videos can be okay, if done with moderation. And also that instead of saying something like "right?" or "yeah" (or any other filler you use to give you time to think) you can actually say nothing. And usually the pause you make will come out much shorter than you think (you can see this after you actually watch your video). Of course we're not Steve Jobs, but check out how long he gives himself to think before he actually answers a question.

Yes! Like this. I once saw an interview with the author Chuck Palahniuk, where he left similar gaps before answering!

@Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez Yes, and it actually conveys respect for the questioner, through creating the sense that the Q is worth thinking about.
✳️ November Skool updates
I'm doing it differently this month. If you want to watch this month's updates click the bell in this post. This will allow me to post updates, but not overflow you with notifications. This will be better for the people who don't care much about the updates.

@Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez thanks Marcin! Oh, that's clever, the way it's linked to the rules

@Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez Cheers! Quite a clever placement, isn't it, because that sidebar is on the outside and inside. The desktop-only thing is an issue, though.

@Jenna Ostrye Thanks Jenna!
✳️ Native 4K video hosting planned for 2025
Okay, looks like they won't be able to make it happen this year (based on Sam's comment). But it's in the plans for next year! Thanks @Jenna Ostrye

💡YouTube shorts will be up to 3 minutes
TL;DW (AI summary) Content Strategy and Audience Engagement 🎥YouTube Shorts can now be up to 3 minutes long, offering creators more flexibility for storytelling and the ability to upload vertical videos up to 2:59 without affecting long-form content experience. 👥Shorts and long-form videos have completely different audiences with minimal crossover, as 80% of viewers who watch videos on the Think Media Podcast Channel don't watch Shorts, indicating a wider audience gap. Monetization and Copyright 💰YouTube Shorts monetization continues to be crucial, with longer Shorts now counting towards YouTube Partner Program requirements (1,000 subs and 10M views in 90 days). 🚫Copyrighted content over 60 seconds will be blocked from playback and recommendations, while third-party claimed content over 1 minute with an active content ID claim will be globally blocked and ineligible for monetization. Platform Features and Updates 🔍YouTube is introducing AI features like Vevo for video backgrounds, trending pages for discovering hot content, and customization options to toggle Shorts in subscriptions, addressing creator requests for improved content discovery and management.
