First Discussion Post In Apex Tribe!
Yo, what's going on! I'm happy to have started this community where we can talk about God, lifting, life, mental toughness, daily wins, etc. Really, anything y'all want to talk about as long as we're supporting each other and making the world a better place because of it! To start things out, I'd love for y'all to drop your favorite Bible verse below, maybe describe why, and also describe your most recent workout. With that being said, feel free to ask each other questions, ask me questions, expand on topics, and have fun. Let's get after it! My favorite Bible verse is Mark 11:22-26: "Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” I love this one because it tells us that anything we can dream about is possible as long as we truly believe in God's power and accept Jesus as our Savior. It also emphasizes a really important thing: to forgive others and spread love. Once I gave my life to Christ and truly believed in His ability to guide me, open doors, and work miracles, my life changed forever. Moving on now, today I hit chest. My chest days have been insane lately as I've been trying to emphasize chest, shoulders, and arms during this bulk because I believe those muscle groups really make a physique aesthetic and stand out (especially chest and shoulders). For chest, I primarily do upper chest movements because, like most people, I lack in that area and think it really brings together a chest. Drop your verse and workouts!

Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no one pursues but the righteous are bold as a lion 2 Corinthians 12:9-10But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.". It’s always a relief for me to know I don’t have to be the strongest or the king because my weakness exalts Christs strength and the power of God. If I just had me it would be a disaster. Having the same spirit that rose Christ gives me confidence in life And a reminder that as a Christian I need to be bold with truth and being a masculine Christ like man means taking action , being a “good man” not a passive man like some may think it means being a protector and overall striving to become Gods model for us My most recent workout I tried something new an idea from Jeff Cavalier on incline DB press. Instead of doing like 3-4 sets. I aimed for 20 effective efficient repetitions. Which means after my first “set” of like 7-8 reps I was ready to begin my effective reps they may have taken me more “sets” but ultimately I just did reps and 30-40 second rest periods until I hit 20. So every rep was hypertrophic.i saw him speak about it and wanted to try it. It’s similar to “rest pause” Probably won’t continue to use it unless I’m short in time but cool concept
