Yo, what's going on! I'm happy to have started this community where we can talk about God, lifting, life, mental toughness, daily wins, etc. Really, anything y'all want to talk about as long as we're supporting each other and making the world a better place because of it! To start things out, I'd love for y'all to drop your favorite Bible verse below, maybe describe why, and also describe your most recent workout. With that being said, feel free to ask each other questions, ask me questions, expand on topics, and have fun. Let's get after it!
My favorite Bible verse is Mark 11:22-26: "Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
I love this one because it tells us that anything we can dream about is possible as long as we truly believe in God's power and accept Jesus as our Savior. It also emphasizes a really important thing: to forgive others and spread love. Once I gave my life to Christ and truly believed in His ability to guide me, open doors, and work miracles, my life changed forever.
Moving on now, today I hit chest. My chest days have been insane lately as I've been trying to emphasize chest, shoulders, and arms during this bulk because I believe those muscle groups really make a physique aesthetic and stand out (especially chest and shoulders). For chest, I primarily do upper chest movements because, like most people, I lack in that area and think it really brings together a chest. Drop your verse and workouts!
