Failing easy tech interview
Hello everyone Just wanted to share, I am pretty much 99 % sure that I failed one of the easiest tech interview. I still feel stupid, frozen and stumble during live sessions even if I have to touch my tech assignment code and do some modifications that are asked by company guys. Some kind of fog in my brain and looks like I am a random guy that never dealt with tech world before. I really feel ashamed that after 5 years of experience nothing has changed when it comes to such moments. Have anyone experienced that?

Hi Eugene! I know the feeling, it happened to me when I had the tech challenge of my current job (and In many other situations). I felt so bad and stupid that I even sent them an email apologizing of my performance (without sending them the challenge). After that they asked me to send them whatever I had and they liked it a lot and they hired me. I tell you this because I was also 99% sure that I failed, I felt terrible and useless for days. Sometimes we feel super frustrated on our performance and we over judge ourselves (this happened to me all the time on my music career, and I regret how that feeling pushed me down). It is hard because performing good when you have eyes on you is actually really hard. Don't discourage yourself, I have never worked with you but I bet you are a great engineer. In case you don't get this one, try to learn from it and for sure you will succeed in the next one!!! πŸ’ͺ
Most traction I’ve had in a year.
Just want to celebrate a small success. I had been struggling to get interviews for like the past year. I followed @Dragos Nedelcu advice on how to modify my LinkedIn and I also used the Resume template and tips he offered on his YouTube video and I have had recruiters reaching out on LinkedIn and after applying and sending my resume to some companies. I have two interviews scheduled for next week. Might not seem like a lot but after only hearing crickets, this is awesome. Thank you for this community @Dragos Nedelcu @Bogdan Nedelcu Excited to get even more interviews scheduled and hopefully land a job soon πŸ™πŸ» P.S. Work on that Resume!
