Hey Corson Its getting close to the season and ive been wondering what I need to add to my recovery routine to make more effective. Last season my recovery wasnt on point and I dont want to make the same mistakes. So far my routine is yoga and a hip specific routine 4x a week. Ice baths 2x a week. The only things i really track with my diet is calories and protein (3k cal 250g protein). Not sure what else to add, feel like im still missing stuff since ive been getting stiffer throughout the offseason.

Mostly my quads and hips. Might be because I shifted to more track and hill days for my off season but I feel way tighter than I should. I was advised to take a deload week to rest but im not sure what that week should look like and how often I should be taking those deload weeks. Also is a deload week be something i need to add during the season?
