I don’t really watch musicals, but I do have LaLa Land as one of my favorite movies ever. I also like 8 Mile and I think Sing Street is a must watch!

Anyone have this ASUS ProArt Monitor?
I'm very close into investing in a new color accurate monitor. I have my eye on the ASUS ProArt 27 inch PA278CGV Monitor and so far I've seen really good reviews online but I wanted to reach out here and see if anyone has this monitor and if they have any thoughts/review on it. Links for the monitor below. Amazon B&H If you have a different monitor that you LOVE and would really recommend that is color accurate please let me know your suggestions! UPDATE: I've purchased this monitor and it's great so far! Hugeee upgrade from my old monitor

I never really paid attention to monitors and how good/bad color accuracy is, BUT a colorist friend swears by Apple monitors, those are a little too pricey no? 🫠🤑

The last filmmaking book I read was Conversations with Darius Khondji, the cinematographer of Se7en, Midnight in Paris, etc. The book is about Darius’ experiences working on set alongside some of the most successful directors in the industry. He also touches on the craft behind some of the shots, the lighting, obstacles and techniques used.
