Scream for help

Hey, everyone. Hope y'all doing great. I am in my senior year of high school and really enthusiastic about writing my own paper. I am an international student in Central Asia and have internship experience in AI. But also, I am very interested in quantum computing. Is it possible for me to come up with an idea, write and hopefully publish it in a month if I am a newbie in QC?? Is it possible to find a mentor in such a limited time too?? I can spend 7-8h a day. I am generally knowledgeable in math and good at reasoning, but I don't have specific knowledge in the field I want to research. And also, I am really struggling with ideas. How to come up with something new, especially in STEM? Thanks for the answer beforehand!❤️

Choose a narrow topic, such as QC applications in AI or a simple analysis using quantum simulators. Look for mentors via online QC communities or reach out to professors for guidance. If publishing in a formal journal is too tight, consider preprint platforms like arXiv or youth journals. Focus on learning and experimenting—it’s okay if you don’t publish right away, as the process itself builds valuable skills.

Look for internships or volunteer opportunities with organizations that focus on human rights, social justice, or political activism. Like... I don't know but I heard about Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, or local advocacy groups.

Actually, it doesn't always to be about your major. You can do anything that your passionate about, but go deep with that one thing. Make a strong portfollio, and make your EC as like... one story of your own unique journey. For me, I'm running a club called GTI which is about discussing about global issues and trying to apply it to our school for improvements.
