About me
Hey everyone, I hope you’re well! A little intro about me… I run On Road Records on Instagram! As a brand, we aim to act as additional branch of promo for aspiring and upcoming DJ’s to help give them that added exposure they deserve! I have so many aspirations going forward such as running events in 2025 and hopefully a festival in the future! We’re also looking to become a fully fledged label within the house scene in the future. Three tips/wins I’ve found so far would be: 1) Consistency with posting content 2) Don’t dismiss anyone just because they don’t seem to have “a large following” 3) Don’t be scared to ask those questions whatever they may be, no question is a stupid question… Three challenges/ areas for improvement: 1) Improving my reels and content 2) Finding the best way to tap into TikTok 3) Being more personal, sharing my story and personality on camera I can’t wait to network further with you guys and look forwards hearing about all of your ventures! 👀

Whats the best way to pivot/come up with new ideas for content? I've notcied at least in the DJ/producer space on Instagram, generally, "transitions/mixes" that don't have a great crowd around do quite poorly. Also, promoting music feels so rigid and speaks in the consistent low engagement. Just looking for new ideas in content whilst maintaining the brand of the page!

@Reece Evans Previously it was always a good DJ "Mix" as it were, 60 ish seconds long with a bit of skill. They feel very uselss now when you don't have footage from gigs with crowds. So outside of gigs making that content now feels a waste of time, if that makes sense.
Social Media Audit
Just a quick message about last week's Audit with Reece - thanks a lot for taking the time to go through my page and suggest some things that I didn't really think about. A lot of value gained from the call that everyone can take on board and he's definitely changed my outlook on how to treat TikTok differently to Instagram #roadto10kontiktok

Weekend Update… Consistency
Weekend’s here, but success doesn’t chill. It’s built by those little wins, staying consistent, and showing up even when everyone else is in weekend mode. But I’d be dis-honest if I didn’t tell you I was going through it too at the moment. Recent situations in other businesses have rocked the boat and with me now going all in on my online community it’s been a heavy week. Consistency is testing me but have to stay aligned for the vision. And unfortunately today doesn’t stop, I’m down in London on a video shoot with James Hype and then have another job straight after. Meaning I won’t be home till 9am (Up and working for about 24 hours straight). Not asking for sympathy just showcasing that this shit takes work. Rome wasn’t built in an day Anyways what’s your vibe for this weekend? Getting stuff done or recharging so you can crush it next week? Either way, hope you all have a great one 👊🏼

Whats 1 peice of advice you would give your younger self?
For myself it would be simple... "Just keep going". The constant late nights and grafting with the purpose of keeping momentum is truely something that I think help cements a strong work ethic. Let me know your piece of advice to your younger self in the comments below 👇

Failing is just an opportunity to learn & improve, put yourself in as many positions as possilbe to do so and you end up learning the most! Improving 10 folds quicker than anyone else around you who is too afraid of failure 💪 "Gospel" 😂
