Great idea!
Newsflash:You Are in Sales!
Did you ever consider that even if your professional expertise is outside of sales, that you are still a sales person? Many professionals frown upon the world of sales, equating it to taking advantage of people, but that is not how professional sales works. Sales is about uncovering problems and presenting viable solutions for a price. I use my expertise to teach fractionals how to stay self-employed. Most of them are people who have no support from family or friends and lack the business skills required to create consistent cashflow. There's the problem and solution. FYI, we self-employed professionals are all sales people. If you're in business, you're also in sales, whether you think you are or not. Somebody has to buy from you if you don't want to be someone's employee. Moving people toward making a committment to hiring you for your expertise, is sales. Go forth and make no appologies for wanting to make a living in business!

AI for Cold Calling?
What's our take on using AI for Cold Calling? I know I've had my fair share of calls already.

I have built voice agents for clients and have seen this trend on adoption from client and their customers point of view : - Use outbound agents for straightforward tasks like lead capture, restaurant reservation, appointment setting etc. - It is better to build voice AI agents for inbound inquiries (customer support) where customers know they are talking to AI, no matter how real it sounds - If using for outbound, Include an option to get callback from real human in event of more details needed or customer chooses to opt out of talking to AI. Best case, you will build trust with your consumers and be seen as innovation leader. Worst case, consumers will opt out and talk to real employee for their needs, while still appreciating the transparency.

@Renée Cormier Exactly. people these days use phone to text, browse social media etc. not so much for actual talking. I let most of my calls go to voicemail. content and LI works much better.
