Car Crash
I believe I just found the car I was looking for. What I'm doing is picking up a car from a junk yard and then looking for a functional car that matches the first. So, I can film scenes of a family driving on the road before a fatal frontal crash with a truck, where the car will end up flipped over, pieces all over the road, along with the bodies of the couple and their daughter. I'm not filming the crash moment, cause that would elevate the risks, the difficulty level, costs, etc. What you guys think?

I love it! Will you be using any green screens?
Fiend of the Mountains
Behind the scenes of a horror movie I was contracted to film. Not my own production, but I had fun.

@Wallace Moura that’s true. Our mosquitoes here in south Louisiana will ick you up and drop you off 10 miles away minus three pints of blood. Lol

@Aj Rome you can save on FX stuff with those bites. Lol
Make it happen!
Today I have all kind of professional equipment, but it wasn't like this before. In this short film I needed to film the actors coming down from the second floor of a house. Following with the drone would be challenging. I didnt have a crane. So... I used a TRIPOD, WITH A GIMBAL AND A CELLPHONE to make this scene. It worked pretty good in my opinion. What you think?

The log line is: Two generations of the thin blue line collide when a rough-edged veteran must partner with an arrogant, by-the-book rookie during a massive crime wave. Will they survive the mean streets or kill each other first? It’s a story of my career in Law Enforcement. How two generations have to learn from each other. One is a hands on cop, the other likes using psychology. It’s a comedy, drama, and action.

@Wallace Moura thanks for the advice.
Introduction
Hello, my name is Gary Ranatza. I’m an actor/writer with Landrum Arts. I have written my first feature film about my career in law enforcement using comedy, drama, and action. I’ve been told i have to get funding for my film first. I’ve tried posting on several film sites, with no success. What’s the best way to get funding? Sincerely, Gary Ranatza

@Wallace Moura I appreciate your honesty. You are absolutely right. Maybe I could make my feature into several shorts. What do you think.

@Wallace Moura thank you my friend
Making a feature film, before making short films...
That's like competing in a Nascar racing, without had never driven a car before. Short films are the best film school. You learn so much from mistakes you make (and you WILL make them). You learn, you improve yourself, and you build a portfolio to showcase your work. Unfortunately, new filmmakers have the dream of making a real movie.... now! You will put money, time, lots of work and other resources into something which result will be more than likely, a tragedy. Dont skip the learning process. Make short films first!
