@Richard Smith @Stephen Thomas I wear a CKM for two week and it shows mostly values between 0.1 and 0.5. Higher values only for a short time when I substitute MCT oils. I asked CKM support, which ketone bodies they measure and here is the answer: "For your question, please kindly note that our sensor could only recognize beta-hydroxybutyrate. Please kindly also have a knowledge of how our sensors work: The ketone (β-hydroxybutyric acid) in the interstitial fluid continuously enter the enzyme layer on the CKM sensor probe, and have oxidized to form an electrical signal. And the transmitter sends the electrical signal to the receiver, and finally the algorithm converts it into the blood ketone value, the receiver can thus displays the value. The KS1 actually monitors the blood ketone concentration in tissue fluid, and then converts it into blood ketone value through an algorithm. The sensor is up to 14 days, providing continuous monitoring 24 hours a day. Real-time dynamic output every 5 minutes, up to 288 output values per day. All-in-one sensor with Bluetooth real-time monitoring without manual scanning. The data is automatically transmitted to the mobile APP (CKM app). The purpose of KS1 is more to provide you with feedback on the impact and changing trends of daily life such as diet, exercise, etc. on blood ketones." Urine strips are also negative, I wonder why, I'm only getting 10-15g carbohydrates from dairy right now. Any thoughts?
